We just eloped and we're supposed to be out of town but due to a hiccup we ended up delaying that. We decided to treat ourselves to a nice dinner. They really made it special by giving us an intimate table upstairs and a few other special touches. Our server was knowledgable (I asked a lot of questions) and friendly without being overbearing. Upon reading the reviews, I expected small portions but we left very full and wholly satisfied. It's important to keep in mind this isn't a regular dining experience but set up almost like you're building your own tasting menu. As a whole, it was a very special experience for us. The haricots verts and truffle gnocchi were my favorites!More infoBOCAPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary European• Central Business District•4.9
- AAnneCincinnati / Dayton •6 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe brought my brother and sister-in-law here for the first time on 2/15/25. Our server Merrick (sorry if I spelled it wrong) was great! Phenomenal dinner, food came out quickly and was delicious. The guys got whole chickens and my sister in law got the chicken sandwich. We ordered fries, spoon bread, succotash, horseradish mashed potatoes, shrimps and grit and macaroni and cheese. We had a lot left over but they wanted to try everything. Last night, the shrimps and grits stole the show though, 10/10! Our only issue, I hate to mention it because we had such a wonderful time but since I am deaf in one ear I feel it may be helpful to someone else; we were seated under a speaker and the music was so loud. So if you’re going and you have hearing issues, maybe ask not to be seated close to where their speakers are. Highly recommend if you love quick, efficient service and pipin hot, yummy food!More infoThe Eagle - OTRPrice: Moderate• Regional American (Southern)• Over the Rhine•4.8
- SSueVIPCincinnati / Dayton •9 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoGreat food—interesting flavors, pricey but worth it. We were fortunate to have an early reservation and not be crushed against other diners which can happen in the tables for two since the restaurant is so small. Cole was a wonderful server.
