Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Fontana

Very good meal! Very friendly staff! Food was tasty... recommend the shrimp and grits! Fried green tomatoes were also a great choice! The Mud pie was excellent- The addition of Coffee flavor made it one of the best desserts we've had in a long time! 1 issue... the Surf and Turf came with pickled jalapenos. These were mixed in with the creamed spinach making it too hot to eat! Would have liked to see the waiter a little more too! Nice person (Devon) but was sometimes a little long between stops. Definitely will be back!

Service and dinner were very good. The globe could use some maintenance as we had a beeping smoke detector, uneven table and there was a gap in the plexiglass letting the cold air in. The heater couldn’t keep up so we ate in 55 degree temp inside the globe.

We had a really enjoyable experience at the Snow Globes. We chose the clubhouse location and I’m so glad we did. The menu was much more expansive which allowed us to actually have dinner (and not just sharables/snacks like the Lodge offers). The food was so good. The service was great. It’s wasn’t very busy so maybe our service was elevated because of that. We did go on a Friday, which you’d think would be busier (it wasn’t). We did the 7pm time slot as well so that could be why we had more attention. The globe was plenty warm (the temp outside was probably 30). We brought blankets but didn’t need them. My only 2 gripes were that the overhead heater was fixed more on one side of the globe so those sitting underneath it were much warmer than those on the other side of the table. There was another heater underneath the bench on the opposite side of the heater but it didn’t seem to warm up like the overhead heater did. The other gripe was the cost. For 6 of us it was $364 (2 of us were teens). $61/person seems quite high, but I suppose you’re also paying for experience. Perhaps if we didn’t go with scallops ($34) it could have been less expensive. Overall it was still a fun and memorable experience and the quality of the service and food also made the price easier to accept.

We were first greeted by Crimson the hostess and her personality was bubbly and she was very friendly telling us we could be seated whenever we were ready. Corrine our server made us feel special the whole night. The food was delicious and the dessert was fantastic.
