The interior has a distinctly late 19th century feel with wooden furnishings brought from Belfast, Ireland.Serving a wide range of domestic and international beers 25 on tap.     Dolly Varden was the PERFECT cocktail spot for a birthday get-together I had before a show:) The staff was so nice and attentive to my larger party of 14, and the vibe of the place and decor made it feel like a Christmas cabin getaway. Every drink we had was amazing and the food was wonderful as well! Will surely be back!

    If I tell how fabulous the food is, it will just make it harder for me to get in next time. So why would I tell anyone that they make the best baked clams in the city? Or the veal chop smothered in peppers is to die for the fact I have been coming here for over thirty years and the quality hasn’t changed shouldn’t influence anyone to go to Montes so do me a favor and go somewhere else

    Fabulous!! Nothing bad about this experience! The food was phenomenal and the vibe of the restaurant was so perfect for this time of year! Made a reservation walked in and was seated immediately! Definitely will be visiting again! Highly recommend the steak frites, the pollo Montallo and the creamed spinach! What a great night!
