- JJulieNew York City •6 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoGreat place to eat in Newport. Tuna Tartare tacos were outstanding and NY strip steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. Cherrystones were fresh and the scallops we good but a little salty. Have visited the bar on the second floor which is nice and cozy and great for alcohol infused coffees but is hard to catch open. Definitely on my list of favorite Newport restaurants.More infoMidtown Oyster BarPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Newport•4.4
- KKarenGreater Boston •4 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWonderful pre theater dinner. Scallops wrapped in bacon, crab & lobster ravioli, and lechee (milk cake) for desert. I don’t think I’ve had a better meal or dining experience!!! Our waiter was phenomenal, he knew we were going to the theater as was every other party in the restaurant, our cocktails and meal were served at a perfect pace. We so enjoyed the dining experience and we had more than enough time to make the show. We’re still discussing which was better the dinner or the show 😁More infoThe GeorgePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Providence•4.5
- DDennisGreater Boston •1 review5.0Dined on 28 Nov 2024This was our first visit to Johnny’s. Their buffet was excellent. Turkey was moist and all foods were delicious. There was delicious and warm fish, beef along with yams and squash. The pecan pie was the best we have ever ate. Staff did an excellent job of spacing the reservations to keep the crowd manageable which allowed for the short buffet line to move quickly and efficiently. Service was friendly and prompt checking often to make sure we were satisfied. New replacement trays of warm food was done promptly. We are looking forward to eating at Johnny’s the next time we are in Newport. Dining room and restrooms very clean.More infoJohnny's at The Atlantic ResortPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Portsmouth•4.5
