Steuben’s is named after a restaurant in Boston that my Great Uncles, Max and Joe, opened in 1945. Steuben's became a famous Boston restaurant, nightclub, and hotspot from the 1940’s to the 1960’s on Boylston Street. The Vienna Room, The Cave, and The Blue Room were all part of the Steuben's space and hosted Big Band, Jazz, and Swing groups with The Rat Pack, proms and sweet sixteens, and more. I was immediately drawn to the Christmas menu and my group agreed it looked great. We were seated at a table for 8 (we were a party of 6) which was great because we promptly ordered tons of food! We ate family style. I prefer this so that I can taste a bit of everything. Most everything was notable! The only negatives were the yams having no flavor and the overabundance of potatoes! We had two servings of mashed and an order of au gratin. It may have been nice to substitute a salad or veggies for all that mashed. Either way, it was a yummy holiday dinner. Loved the cocktails! Thank you!

Everything about this place is exceptional! We worked our way through the menu and everything we tasted was amazing. The combinations of flavors were all exquisite. The toro tostada was one of our favorite dishes. The mushrooms and the mole beef cheeks were also stand outs. We truly didn’t have an unsatisfactory bite in anything that we tried. The mezcal selection was fun and on point. Our server, Christina, along with all of the other staff, was attentive and kind and added to the whole experience. I woke up the next day still dreaming about this place. 20/10
