The Grain House Restaurant is located on the picturesque 10-acre estate of the Olde Mill Inn in Basking Ridge, NJ. The Grain House structure was originally built as a barn in the 1760’s and was used to store grain for American Revolutionary soldiers. The barn was later moved to its current location and opened as a restaurant in the 1930’s. My first time here and I will be back.The food and service were excellent and the noise level was great. We were able to have a nice conversation over dinner. It's a bit pricey but worth it!

So glad we decided on the Pluckemin Inn to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. Warm, cozy ambiance, elegant service and superb food made for a perfect evening. Among our fanorites were the pork belly appetizer and the duck breast entree. Divine! Our favorite place in an area of great restaurant choices.

This was our first time there. The food was very good and the service was good the staff was very friendly. We had the Thanksgiving feast it was very tasty, But it could of used more gravy and there was hardly any potatoes, stuffing on the plate it was mainly all dark meat no Brussels sprouts or carrots on the plate. That is the only thing that I was disappointed with. We will definitely be back to try the regular menu. What a beautiful place.
