Best Cosy Restaurants in College Area

This is a great little neighborhood gem. French food but with a California twist. Not overly heavy with sauces or hard to approach, just excellent food in a great little spot in North Park East. The service was also excellent, with a number of attentive and friendly staff. We loved the onion tart, homemade past, and steak dishes, but honestly all of the menu items were outstanding. If I had to skip one I would say the chicken, which had kind of a greasy and hard to eat pork casing it (although the mustard salad and sauce were awesome). Great overall dining experience and kudos to these guys for creating a unique but approachable menu in the French style.

Great food and service. Large portion of carne asada in corn tortillas with rice an d beans for me and chicken enchiladas for the husband. The ambiance of the outdoor patio keeps me coming back. It was a chilly night but the fire pits and overhead warmers were just enough.

When I say EVERYTHING was scrumptious, I mean it! The Alligator Andouille Cheesecake was creamy, savory, beautiful and delicious! We had a group of 5 and it was perfect to share. Everyone ooooohhh’d and awwww’d their way through their tastebuds trip! We also tried the Rasta Pasta with the most flavorful smoky oxtail, and tasty shrimps. The gumbo which you can tell was cooked Low and slowwww to allow the flavors to flavor. Shrimp & Grits were silky and rich, just like they should be. The Dooky Chase with the biggest and juiciest wings! Deliciously seasoned! Can’t wait to come back to try the rest of the menu! And to get another Alligator Andouille Cheesecake! Hell yeah, Chef Q & Team!

We had a memorable Thanksgiving Dinner in a remarkable setting with great food, drink, and service! Excellent!

Amazing, as usual. This was my 2nd speciality dinner at Cori Pastificio. Acursio and staff always excel at service, food, creativity. From the cocktail to the plates and the wine pairings--excellent, and we learned about the creativity of local chefs using local seafood and local people to present beautiful and delicious food.
