- AandreavipSan Diego •9 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWonderful dinner. Unfortunately our special guest had to cancel last minute so it wasn’t the celebration we had planned. However we had a fab dinner - wedge, tartare, skate, halibut, schnitzel, chips and three cocktails and it was fab with fantastic service in beautiful space.More infoGeneral PublicPrice: Expensive• Canadian• The Junction•4.7
- MMarilynvipToronto / Ontario •36 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoBar Isabel is a great vibe. It's crowded noisy and wonderful. The food is unmatched. My dining companions were just in Spain and felt they never left and the food was better! We started with little pepper apps think fresh peas in a pod salted. Then we had a toast bread with gorgeous Spanish prosciutto then croquettes made with bechamel and bits of ham - wow . Then came the octopus melt in your mouth with some creamy sauce. Then we had the most tender pork sliced with a sort of bok choy side and steak cooked to perfection. All small shareable portions so you never felt too full. Then we tried the desserts one a sort of chocolate hazelnut mousse cake the other a vanilla sponge with warm heavy cream. This was heaven. Everyone on this little bar were enjoying their food and company. The wait staff were very professional without being stuffy. All in all this was a gastronomic delight. Should out to Olivia and the team who made our evening fun.More infoBar IsabelPrice: Very Expensive• Spanish• Little Italy / College St.•4.7
- JJohnLondon •6 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe antipasti we had was an off-menu carciofi alla romana, with a slightly-too-subtle negroni, and a very proud luxardo special. Fantastic pastas, we had the agnolotti al funghi and it was truly sublime—velvet texture and big flavour. The secondi was grilled branzino, impeccably prepared and served with a perfect salmoriglio. Service was fantastic, paced well, with solid recommendations from our server. Well above average, overall.More infoEnoteca SocialePrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Little Italy / College St.•4.6
- JJayToronto / Ontario •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoLinny's offers the whole package. A unique and elegantly designed space with an atmosphere that takes you back to the 50's, paired with warm service and delicious food. We started with the challah service, which is baked daily and served with a delicious housemade jam that apparently changes with the seasons. After that, a few noshes; the fresh house salad tossed with bulgar and champagne vinegraite, king salmon served with crispy potato latkes, and the unexpectedly delightful kasha bows pasta, which was complimented perfectly by the addition of truffles. For our mains, we enjoyed a combination of perfectly cooked hanger steak, mushroom crepe, and the crunchiest fries on ossington. The cabbage with beemster cheese was also *chefs kiss* 👌 Our server Vanessa and the whole team was very friendly, and we can't wait to come back. PS. The babka dessert was incredible, but also try the apple cake with a scoop of their vanilla ice cream for good measure.More infoLinny'sPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Ossington•4.8
- SSheilaToronto / Ontario •5 reviews5.0Dined on 14 Nov 2024It’s always a treat to eat at Levant. The hummus is so creamy and delicious. The side arugula salad was a lovely surprise. I was expecting a simple bowl of arugula in a light vinaigrette, but it came topped with goat cheese, grilled cauliflower and pita chips with a tasty dressing. Fantastic! But it’s the (not pizza) that keep us coming back! We love all the flavors, and always order extra for reheating at home the next day.More infoLevantPrice: Moderate• Pizzeria• Bloor West Village•4.5
