Enoteca Sociale is built on passion.Passion for sharing a culture we fell in love with through the food we eat and the experiences we share. Opened in 2010, Enoteca Sociale has become a mainstay for Italian Cuisine in the Toronto, built on the philosophy of making simple & honest Roman cuisine that can be shared with friends and family.Through the years, Enoteca Sociale has evolved to offer a wider food offering comprised of traditional Roman dishes like Cacio e Pepe, l’Amatriciana and Carbonara. With Chef Kyle Rindinella at the helm the menu takes inspiration directly from Rome, remaining as true to the traditional culinary practices as possible. The Italian-focused wine list includes varietals that are rarely available elsewhere in Ontario and represent the entire country of Italy.

General Public is inspired by trying to imagine what an upscale English pub would be if it had the heart of an American brasserie (and was open 11 to 11). It’s also going to signal a little bit of steakhouse, but not too much. And finally, it will look behind itself at the Black Hoof, which you will see reflected in James Santon’s menu here and there. In terms of vibe, the main floor is ‘everything’s gone green’, with lush comfortable banquette seating, warm wood, and barstools designed for long conversations over many cocktails. Upstairs you’ll find a completely different space that transports you to a peachy 80s dream. Somehow these two halves make perfect sense, and complement each other in a seamless conversation, where neither wins the argument, but you really do have to see it! See you soon!

Osteria Giulia sprung to life in our imaginations as a tribute to Italian traditions of the past. We wanted to create one simple, beautiful thing. Somewhere outside of your busy life, outside of your surroundings, outside of time. An environment, an experience, an entire evening. Osteria Giulia is intimate, warm and familiar. We’ve revelled in her every detail. We’ve established a rarified menu focusing on Northern Italian cuisine and delicate coastal, Mediterranean flavour. Giulia is a new imagining of what an Italian restaurant can be. It always was the place of our dreams, the reason for our collaboration, and the culmination of—and conduit for—our collective passion. Opened in 2017. Michelin-recommended since 2022.We first imagined Aloette to be the perfect diner that we’d want to dine in – a menu with a great cheeseburger paired with a fantastic and fun wine list, a long row of bar stools facing the bar and the kitchen, and an energetic atmosphere accented with an old school hip hop playlist. The buzz of the dining room mirrors the energy of the street on Spadina Avenue; the dining room itself mimics a train’s dining car. It’s a bistro-meets-diner-meets-internationally-inspired menu which is also representative of the diverse culture in Toronto. Our service team is upbeat and genuine but also deeply knowledgeable about the menu and offerings. Brunch at Aloette was something we said we’d never do. But the city kept asking and we’re glad to be a new staple in the Queen West neighbourhood for mimosas, chicken and waffles, and piping hot coffees. We hope you love our little diner as much as we and our team do. Patrick Kriss & Zane Pearl

Wonderful dinner. Unfortunately our special guest had to cancel last minute so it wasn’t the celebration we had planned. However we had a fab dinner - wedge, tartare, skate, halibut, schnitzel, chips and three cocktails and it was fab with fantastic service in beautiful space.

Bar Isabel is a great vibe. It's crowded noisy and wonderful. The food is unmatched. My dining companions were just in Spain and felt they never left and the food was better! We started with little pepper apps think fresh peas in a pod salted. Then we had a toast bread with gorgeous Spanish prosciutto then croquettes made with bechamel and bits of ham - wow . Then came the octopus melt in your mouth with some creamy sauce. Then we had the most tender pork sliced with a sort of bok choy side and steak cooked to perfection. All small shareable portions so you never felt too full. Then we tried the desserts one a sort of chocolate hazelnut mousse cake the other a vanilla sponge with warm heavy cream. This was heaven. Everyone on this little bar were enjoying their food and company. The wait staff were very professional without being stuffy. All in all this was a gastronomic delight. Should out to Olivia and the team who made our evening fun.

The antipasti we had was an off-menu carciofi alla romana, with a slightly-too-subtle negroni, and a very proud luxardo special. Fantastic pastas, we had the agnolotti al funghi and it was truly sublime—velvet texture and big flavour. The secondi was grilled branzino, impeccably prepared and served with a perfect salmoriglio. Service was fantastic, paced well, with solid recommendations from our server. Well above average, overall.

Linny's offers the whole package. A unique and elegantly designed space with an atmosphere that takes you back to the 50's, paired with warm service and delicious food. We started with the challah service, which is baked daily and served with a delicious housemade jam that apparently changes with the seasons. After that, a few noshes; the fresh house salad tossed with bulgar and champagne vinegraite, king salmon served with crispy potato latkes, and the unexpectedly delightful kasha bows pasta, which was complimented perfectly by the addition of truffles. For our mains, we enjoyed a combination of perfectly cooked hanger steak, mushroom crepe, and the crunchiest fries on ossington. The cabbage with beemster cheese was also *chefs kiss* 👌 Our server Vanessa and the whole team was very friendly, and we can't wait to come back. PS. The babka dessert was incredible, but also try the apple cake with a scoop of their vanilla ice cream for good measure.

It’s always a treat to eat at Levant. The hummus is so creamy and delicious. The side arugula salad was a lovely surprise. I was expecting a simple bowl of arugula in a light vinaigrette, but it came topped with goat cheese, grilled cauliflower and pita chips with a tasty dressing. Fantastic! But it’s the (not pizza) that keep us coming back! We love all the flavors, and always order extra for reheating at home the next day.
