- TTimothyJacksonville / Northeast Florida •17 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWhile my children were visiting from the west coast, we scheduled a day for visiting the Ancient City and walking the galleries, St. George, and the holiday lights. At dusk we made our way to Old City House for a 7:00 reservation. It was a perfect choice! Convenient to city center, yet a step inside revealed a calm, relaxed, intimate setting for a perfect family outing. Two of us had the seafood cioppino, which was superb, loaded with shellfish and a wonderful tomato-based broth. My daughter's lamb shank was perfectly done, savory and tender, and more than she could finish. My adventurous but demanding son had the octopus, which he completed in complete silence. It was the perfect setting for a perfect evening. I can highly recommend this venue without a single caution.More infoOld City HousePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• St. Augustine•4.7
- TTimJacksonville / Northeast Florida •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoThe food was absolutely delicious! The salmon appetizer, meat and potatoes and vegetable medley were amazing. The array of flavors were blended beautifully. Our server was helpful and since it was our first time she gave us great suggestions on what to order! It was a great date night with nice jazz guitarist playing. One of the best meals we have had in St. Augustine!More infoChez L'amourPrice: Expensive• Tapas / Small Plates• St. Augustine•4.5
- CCynthiaOrlando / Central Florida East •5 reviews5.0Dined on 26 Dec 2024Great restaurant in the middle of the historic district of St. Augustine. Loved the old house feel. Server was always available until the end of our meal when we needed to leave for an event. We had to bypass coffee as it was taking 30 minutes for dessert and coffee. The staff was exceptional. The meal cooked and served excellently. The ambiance might have been better with a different table. We were seated in a small room in back by the black curtain where staff continued to go back and forth. I would suggest when you make a reservation to see if you can get into the main dining area.More infoMichael's St. AugustinePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• St. Augustine•4.8
