Girardi’s Osteria is a family owned and operated Italian restaurant. It opened in 1999 and has been an Edmonds landmark ever since. Girardi's is cozy yet elegant, with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. The food is wonderful and represents many different flavors of Italy as well as some fusion creations. Large 3-sided fireplace in the center of the dining room warms the cold days, while the beautiful patio with a 3-tiered fountain, overhead electric heating, a beautiful mature flowering cherry tree in the middle and Merlot Grapes growing on the trellises provide a garden-like outdoor dining experience seasonally. The dining room is bright and airy with many windows facing the east and west, and bar and lounge area provide a comfortable space for drinks, appetizers and conversations.Girardi's signature dish, Fred's Salmon, a gently smoked and perfectly prepared Salmon served with wild mushroom risotto and roasted asparagus is served Thursdays through Sundays and not to be missed.

I love that they still have outdoor dining. They have great heaters and they preheat the covered patio area. Service was quick and efficient. I had the half Caesar: crisp, cold, and very flavorful. And the large Pancetta pizza. This is my favorite pizza in the world! Everything about it is ‘spot-on’! To drink, I had the Smoke and Oak. A finely crafted libation. I could only eat about half of the pizza, so took the other half home.

It’s a great little restaurant! The wine menu is limited but well curated and the pours are generous. The food menu is diverse and well prepared. Our server took care to spread delivery out thoughtfully so we had time to enjoy each course, a treat in itself! Thank you everyone!

Our first time at Charcoal. We were greeted and warmly invited in. Our table was ready but we chose to have dinner at the bar. The excellent bartender Brielle, also our server, was attentive and made great cocktails! The truffle fries were the best anywhere, anytime! Crispy and flavorful and irresistible! The pork tenderloin was perfectly cooked over cabbage and carrot purée. The scallops were also perfectly cooked served on golden beet puree topped with lardons. Delicious! Something else great about this place is that the tables are not on top of one another! There is space to breathe, talk and enjoy your meal.
