Best Cosy Restaurants in Lakewood

I really like Westsiders! The drinks are great, with lots of options. There are vegetarian options, though the brunch menu has less vegetarian meals. The sides are really good, and most are veg friendly. My fav is the whipped ricotta.

Very nice first experience. This is an interesting find and kind of hidden in a speakeasy kind of way. Definitely high energy and quite loud. Two great bartenders behind a very small bar area. Menu is somewhat limited, but does have interesting small plates and wood fired pizza's. Vegan Cream of Mushroom soup was outstanding. Ciabatta sandwich was very good but nothing special. Burrata Pizza had all the right ingredients, but I wish is would have been a bit more charred and crispy. Dough is quite thick, though fresh. Perfect Manhattan hit the spot.

We took our granddaughter there for her birthday and Christmas get together. Our waiter was excellent ! The food was excellent! We had the meatballs, chopped salad, salmon, chicken parm, and pesto genovese! The caramalized cheesecake for dessert was wonderful! Wonderful experience !

Wife and I had terrific dinner last evening. Ostrich and scallops appetizers, lobster pasta and mussels saffron pasta entrees all outstanding. Our server Jen was extremely helpful in choosing two bottles of the style of wines we wanted (we took part of each bottle home!). Looking forward to returning to try many other dishes.

We ended up sitting at the bar on Christmas Eve and Tracy did an excellent job serving us. The drinks were delicious. The bread isn't as good as it used to be and also the butter. This bread is rather dry and hard and we miss the honey butter. We ordered the twin filets with fingerling potatoes and succotash. It had some strange smokey tomato sauce for the steak. We were slightly dissappointed with the meal. I was glad I asked for a side of bearnaise sauce but that was real thick too. Usually we love any of the food there but nothing was seasoned enough. The potatoes weren't good because it was just fingerling potatoes with so flavor to them. The succotash was just a corn relish. We will come back in the future but not for a good steak like we wanted to treat ourselves with for the holiday. So sorry for the bad review.
