Best Cosy Restaurants in Heywood

A relaxed atmosphere, good service and very good food. Unusually for a trattoria, there were a few vegan options; the one I chose was delicious. The sweet menu was also very good. Again, my vegan option - tiramisu - was excellent. The tables and chairs are not the most comfortable - more bar stools than restaurant chairs - and the space can be a little cramped (it's popular). However, these are very minor quibbles. Highly recommended. Hopefully, we will be back.

Had the most amazing dinner at Mnky Hse!! Service was really good and the food was 10/10, the prawn tempura is the best i’ve ever had. Oysters and the ceviche were delicious too. Absolutely love the music, made me feel like I was back in Mykonos. Overall, would definitely recommend!

Another amazing meal produced by Daniel and all the staff From being greeted at the door to paying the bill the whole experience is amazing. Everyone works so hard to make sure your experience is the best and the food and its presentation is out of this world with every meal being explained as it arrives from the kitchen. My advice would be to sit at the bar and watch the hard working staff prepare everything to perfection. We went with the set menu and when we were intrigued as to what was in the ingredients Chef took time to not only tell us but also show us the produce which is grown by them in Cheshire. Yes it can get expensive but what price do you pay for locally sourced produce served at this level and with so much dedication

We went on a Sunday at 5 so it was not too busy. I have been on other nights when it has been extremely busy. This was a lovely afternoon. We opted for the Sunday Roast which was delicious. We chose the steak and salmon and both meals were lovely. This is a stunning restaurant and has a really good vibe. Staff are very attentive and make you feel pampered and special. I would definitely recommend and come again.
