- JJuanWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoExquisite! The table service was slightly rushed in the beginning (we prefer the dining vice scarfing our faces like Neanderthals experience). When that was expressed, the service swiftly changed to our liking and we had a lovely time! The food was impeccably curated and masterfully paired by the sommelier.More infoTĪNG Restaurant and Lounge, Shangri-La The Shard, LondonPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary British• London Bridge•4.3
- RRositaLondon •5 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWith the pleasure of dining at Hawksmoor Wood Wharf to celebrate a special birthday, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The porterhouse was cooked to absolute perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The side dishes complemented the steak beautifully, each one thoughtfully prepared with attention to detail. The desserts were a highlight as well, particularly the indulgent chocolate plate that arrived with a candle, a lovely touch to make the evening even more memorable. Not only was the food outstanding, but the service was impeccable. The staff went above and beyond to make the celebration feel truly special, showing genuine care and attention to every detail. Hawksmoor Wood Wharf really knows how to deliver a top-notch dining experience, and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking to enjoy great food in a welcoming, professional setting.More infoHawksmoor Wood WharfPrice: Expensive• British• Canary Wharf•4.5
- PPauloLondon •10 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoI was torn between visiting Joia and 2 other restaurants, and I'm glad I picked Joia (again)! I had my mother over during the festivities and wanted to treat her to a nice meal and experience. And Joia didn't disappoint! Actually, it went beyond my, our expectations! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance, the warm welcome, and the prompt (but not too invasive) approach were fantastic! But the winners were our server Natasha (with her attentive service) and the receptionist Sifo (I hope I spelled his name correctly) with his charm and knowledge of the power station history. He even took us for a quick tour of the upstairs pool and rooftop bar despite the snow and freezing conditions. I couldn't have asked for more, and I'll certainly recommend it to others and def come back again! Thank you Joia!! It was a truly joy-FULL experience!More infoJOIA Restaurant & BarPrice: Expensive• Portuguese• Battersea•4.5
- PPaulLondon •1 review5.0Dined on 2 Jan 2025Very friendly welcome and shown to table straight away. Place was very busy for a Thursday night but felt instantly welcome, and a good vibe to the place. Waiter/server was really helpful and explained the menu to us in great detail, with recommendations on portion size. Good range of drinks and prompt delivery. We didn’t like the sound of part of the starter, but they were happy to change bits for us. We had the All In, which was a selection of skinny chops, pork, lamb and beef served on bread, so it soaks up the juices! All cooked to perfection and bloody delicious! We had the best beef dripping chips I’ve ever tasted and a coal baked sweet potatoes that was jaw droppingly tasty! The garlic bone marrow was excellent, and the Blacklock gravy was full of flavour! I bucked the trend on dessert and plumped for pigs head on toast which was on the starters list. Enjoyed every mouthful and the server had put a candle in it as it was my Birthday! Good music playing in the background which wasn’t too loud. This place is an absolute gem and also welcomes well behaved dogs! Will definitely be making another visit to try other menu items!More infoBlacklock Canary WharfPrice: Moderate• International• Canary Wharf•4.7
- NNLondon •1 review5.0Dined on 11 Dec 2024Really delicious food prepared in front of you. The menu may seem simple but the quality (and size) of the dishes is amazing. Pleasantly intimate setting with attentive but not overpowering service. The live stream / commentary can be distracting in such a small space but it's part of the package so no complaints. Would definitely return.More infoOi SpaghettiPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary Italian• Peckham•5
