Always meets expectations at Tarrants Downtown. Staff is courteous, prompt and experienced. Food is amazing and consistent with a diverse menu of local favorites. Atmosphere is eclectic and they are able to accommodate intimate tables and parties of 8 or more. Highly recommend reservation for large parties. Staff is prompt to answer the phone and easily accommodated last minute changes to my reservation. Tarrants Downtown is in our top 3 of restaraunts when eating in the city limits of Richmond.

Still, a high point of Richmond dining. We hadn't been in a while and were delighted to discover that "under new management," Can Can is better than ever. Excellent French-inspired menu, quality prep and a welcoming, professional staff. We were pleased to see Lauren captaining the reception desk, and our server, Chelsea, was attentive and cheerful. It's not easy finding a good hollandaise in Richmond, let alone an edible baguette, but Can Can delivers on both counts. Can't wait to return.

It was a phenomenal experience. The wait staff was excellent. Answered our questions about the food, drinks, etc. The food was amazing, we were fortunate enough to try many items off the menu and every one of them was incredible. 10/10 will be back!!

I had a lovely time. Our server was amazing! The food was good! However, the portion size was small. There was also a $3 up charge to substitute the wild rice that came with the salmon to mashed potatoes. The portion of the mash potatoes was very small for it to be an up charge. Overall, the food, drinks, and experience was great!

As always, the food, ambiance, and service were excellent. My husband and I have been talking about L'Opposum to my husband's brother, my brother, and their wives since our first meal there in 2018. We wanted to take my brother and his wife to L'opposom because he is a chef, and she is the best cocktail maker. They both have an amazing wine collection. They are foodies, and we knew they would appreciate this restaurant and its offerings. My brother and I grew up in France. Luckily for both of us, cooking was only done with high-quality fresh food in our family. Every Sunday, we all cooked together and sat at the table enjoying conversations and laughs, and adults dutifully paired wines with the dishes of the day (of course, while educating us children about the need to do so) I am sharing this because L'Opposom offers a colorful environment with a skilled staff, a witty and excellent menu, a tremendous thought-through music list, and a great cocktail and wine list. In some ways, each time I have been there, I am taken back to my Sunday meals, where food and drinks were always delicious, laughter was plentiful, and you could hear each other talk (I do not know how it's done, but you can actually have a conversation without having to raise your voice or ask someone to repeat).
