- OTOpenTable DinerLos Angeles •5 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoIt's been a few years since we've been to Roost, it used to be with our family, it would be hit or miss to get in. Now with reservations as an option know we can get a table. I'm so glad we decided to go here! The service was top-notch. The food was delicious, better than I remembered. Everything was cooked perfectly. The flavors are interesting yet still feel like Grandma would make. With 30% off of wine on Monday and Tuesday it's a great deal, especially since wines are reasonable to begin with. Shout out to our server Abby for a great wine recommendation and also a general excellent demeanor. We'll be back for sure!More infoRoost HoustonPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Montrose•4.8
- RReyAustin •3 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoThis place was overall a great place to dine in at. This is a great spot to enjoy good food, excellent drinks and nice ambience. As an individual who is not a huge wine drinker, the server was amazing at talking about the different wines and help pick an excellent wine! Will definitely return on my next trip to Houston.More infoFioriPrice: Expensive• Italian• Montrose•4.2
- GGeorgeHouston •4 reviews4.0Dined on 25 Dec 2024We were a party of 5. We got a nice quiet table in the sun room. Service was attentive. Steaks and red snapper were well prepared and had good taste and texture. I could have done with more sauce vierge on the snapper. The sides were okay but not great. Asparagus (and Bearnaise sauce) lacked much flavor, the pomegranate molasses dressing on the brussels sprouts was a little powerful, the gnocchi came off as pan-fried mashed potatoes. The onion soup was a disappointment - rather sweet, not much flavor to the broth, mushy. Other members of our party were less critical than I was and quite enjoyed their meals. Except the eldest, who usually complains about all the food. :-) All in all, I feel like I should have sneaked in some seasoned salt to perk things up.More infoTonight & Tomorrow at La Colombe d’OrPrice: Expensive• French• Montrose•4.5
