- JJosueSan Diego •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoAmazing Experience at insideOUT! I recently dined at insideOUT in Hillcrest, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the chic and inviting ambiance. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between upscale and relaxed, making it ideal for a night out. Our server, Grant, was absolutely amazing—attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, making the service nothing short of phenomenal. The food was exquisite, with every dish crafted to perfection. And let’s not forget the festive drinks—they were not only delicious but also beautifully presented, adding a fun and celebratory vibe to the evening. If you’re looking for a restaurant that offers top-notch service, delectable food, and a gorgeous setting, insideOUT is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back!More infoinsideOUTPrice: Expensive• Californian• Hillcrest•4.8
- IIngridVIPNew Mexico •24 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe had reservations for an outside table; it ended up being a rainy evening and they were able to offer us a table indoors. For drinks, we enjoyed the Tempranillo and the Oaxaca Rosito, which is a Negroni with Mezcal instead of gin; it was luscious and smoky. As appetizers, we enjoyed the chips with a smoky orange and hot green salsas and the Tetala Mole Flight. The latter is a large triangular patty filled with potatoes and cheese, artfully topped with their three moles. It was so fun to taste all of their delicious moles. Our entrees were the Burris Ramen, with braised short ribs and noodles in a delicious broth; and a carnitas taco and a mushroom & cauliflower taco. Both were wonderful, and I appreciated that the tacos were ala carte. We shared the Chocoflan for dessert; this is flan atop a thin chocolate cake layer, topped with raspberry mousse and freeze dried strawberries, with passion fruit caramel on the plate. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. This was a refreshing change from typical Sonoran and Tex-Mex restaurants.More infoTahona BarPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Old Town•4.5
- AAlanSan Diego •4 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThis is my go to for business lunches and special events. Food and service at or above expectations. The views are amazing. Selection and quality provides something for all. Custom food requests don’t seem to cause issues. Lunchtime parking is ample and has been free when we go. They may regulate parking sometimes so call if that is a concern. You can’t go wrong with the Cohn family of restaurants, with C-Level being one of their premier locations.More infoC-LevelPrice: Moderate• Cocktail Bar• Downtown / Gaslamp•4.7

Garlic mash and Mac were on point. The short ribs just melted in your mouth. Even the Tamales were super good!! The service was excellent as expected from the Cosmo. I hope this is a yearly event. We will be back next year for sure !!More infoCosmopolitan RestaurantPrice: Moderate• American• Old Town•4
