- FfamilygettogetherDetroit / Eastern Michigan •19 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoAmazing as always. Great management, great staff and of course great food. Definitely get the 4 or 5 course, you won’t be disappointed. It’s not just a meal, it’s an experience. Our favorites are the loaded potato cheese, Caesar salad , make your own entree and for our chocolate we like flaming turtle so we can roast our marshmallows. Don’t be afraid to pace yourself, they have to go boxes. I love to bring friends who have never been before so I can show them the ropes. Put Melting Pot of Troy on your bucket list this winter.More infoThe Melting Pot - TroyPrice: Expensive• Fondue• Troy•4.3
- JJosephDetroit / Eastern Michigan •5 reviews4.0Dined on 8 Nov 2024The food quality has really gone downhill over the years. Ordered the macademia nut chicken with asparagus. Chicken was overdone and rubbery, and asparagus looked anemic and limp. The manager addressed the asparagus without having to make a request, which was the highlight of our dining experience. Our waitress was polite and attentive, but forgetful of requests. It's a shame because this restaurant holds a significant place for my wife and I; it's where I proposed. We enjoyed the food and ambiance in the past, but now it's crowded, too brightly lit, and less intimate for any chance of a romantic dinner. In the over 11 years since we've been married, this is only the fifth time we've eaten here, and I do not know that we'll ever come back given the superior quality of food that's available in the area.More infoKona Grill - TroyPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Troy•4
