- BBevYorkshire •3 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoLovely evening here, nice and warm and felt cosy, busy too with a mix of all ages Gorgeous Calamari starter to share. My chicken salad was disappointing, soggy croutons and lots of the hard core from the chicory not really edible, we calmly mentioned it to the staff and they offered to bring more croutons and deducted it from the bill which was greatly appreciated My partners fish soup was delicious and he also enjoyed the banana panaches, coffee was pretty ok too. We Will definitely return and give it another go 😍More infoCôte Brasserie - YorkPrice: Moderate• French• York•4.5

My favourite, local eating place. Midweek early dining is great value for money and a great dining experience.More infoThe Durham OX, CraykePrice: Very Expensive• Gastro Pub• York•4.6

- CChristopherYorkshire •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoA "Gastronomic Epiphany " . From the warm welcome on arrival, the friendly and attentive staff to the cosy and historic surroundings, it was the perfect setting to what was probably going to be one of my most memorable dining experiences. We both ordered the fabled "steak n ale" pie with a side of cauliflower cheese. We deliberately abstained from a starter so that we would be able to fully appreciate the main. We were not disappointed ! The pie, gravy, garlic mash and side were sublime. We will be back.More infoGuy Fawkes InnPrice: Expensive• British• York•4.4
