Best Date Night Restaurants in Fairview

Food was DELICIOUS! The whole staff was so attentive, patience, and gracious the whole time we were there. We arrived a little early and they still sat us with no problem. Walked us through the menu, and checked in on us throughout the evening. The cocktails were "shockingly good" as my brother kept saying. The food was perfectly paced, and surprising-but-familiar flavors. Nothing overly showy or weird, but all beautiful. We'll be back!

Outstanding and unpretentious service. Fabulously friendly and caring. The "Happy Days" menu certainly keeps the cost very reasonable, especially for this high a level of tasty dishes. Both pastas we had, "spicy vodka" and "bolo" (pork/beef ragu) were delicious. We took the bolo home for dinner and it heated up with no fuss nor muss. Microwaving it to reheat without any additions whatsoever and it was perfect!! The burger is fantastic, dripping with yummy sauce and melted American cheese. Fries cooked well and totally addictive. And the bang bang shrimp to start were cooked beautifully with a wonderful spice level and a fine textural crunch. We were happy campers and will be back to try the rest of the menu. 😁

Always feel taken care of and appreciated at Grapes and Soda as well as their sister restaurant Farmers Apprentice. It’s tasty, feels like a special occasion and reasonable enough to enjoy nice dinners, snacks and drinks there without feeling too guilty. An especially friendly FOH and kitchen staff. A great dining experience.

Our visit to Nightingale was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we walked in, the service and ambiance set the tone for an exceptional dining experience. The food was beyond incredible—each dish was thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavor. A special shoutout to our server, Colwyn, who truly made the evening special. He was not only attentive and caring but also incredibly thoughtful with his recommendations. His warm and welcoming demeanor made our first meal in Vancouver a highlight of our trip. We couldn’t have asked for a better start to our time here. Thank you, Colwyn, and the entire team at Nightingale for such a memorable experience. We’ll be back! We love coming here and almost always have the lobster salad. The bread is also yummy. We shared the pumpkin soup, also delicious if not quite hot. The sparkling wine was fine, but it would be nice to have a choice, perhaps a good Prosecco. It is very French in menu and ambience, relaxing and fun even though it always seems so busy and noisy at lunch, especially at Christmas time. And we always feel well taken care of. Not sure how they do it, but here’s to coming back in 2025 for our special occasions.
