For the first round we opted for their Mai tai made with aged rum. It’s $45 but pretty amazing! The lobster bisque is truly the best soup I’ve ever had. For the main entree the wife and I shared their Chateaubrand (20 oz. Filet Mignon, cut and served table side) and it was also the best filet I’ve ever had. We finished off our meal with an old fashioned and a large vanilla soufflés with grand marnier. Our soufflé was slightly over cooked however I won’t hold it against them as I’ve had it before here and it was perfect (accidents happen). Last but not least our server Jocelyn provided excellent service and we appreciated her attentiveness and suggestions. If you have a special day coming up or just a fan of the finer things in life, I highly suggest visiting the cellar!More infoThe Cellar - Fullerton CAPrice: Very Expensive• French American• Fullerton•4.7

From the moment you walk through the door, you’re greeted with warmth and the delightful aromas of fresh herbs, garlic, and simmering sauces. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel like family. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with rustic decor that gives it an old-world charm. Whether you’re coming for a romantic dinner or a family gathering, Bruno’s has a welcoming vibe that sets the perfect mood for any occasion. But let’s talk about the food. Absolutely exceptional. The menu offers a fantastic selection of classic Italian dishes, all made with the freshest ingredients and prepared with care. I highly recommend starting with their bruschetta, a burst of flavor that’s both fresh and satisfying. Service is always impeccable. The staff is attentive without being intrusive, and they’re always happy to recommend wine pairings or dishes based on your preferences. The passion they have for both the food and the restaurant is evident in every aspect of the experience. Bruno’s Italian Restaurant has quickly become one of my favorite dining spots in the city. It’s a place where you can enjoy an authentic Italian meal, a glass of wine, and feel like you’re part of something special. Highly recommend it to anyone in search of a truly memorable Italian dining experience.More infoBrunos Italian KitchenPrice: Moderate• Italian• Brea / La Habra•4.9

We know her name bc after eating here we really wanted to know who the genius was behind such original, flavorful, and beautiful dishes. She turned out to be just as engaging and enjoyable as her food was. This place is an absolute must-try. The dino ribs were melt in your mouth. I would never order meatballs normally but the internet said to do so and we were so glad we did, insanely deep flavors. The pork chop was unlike any preparation I’d had before. It was resting on a bed of rice which was resting in a French onion soup and the flavors melded together like poetry. Internet also said to order the patatas bravas. When they came out they accidentally brought two orders to our table and we told them we only ordered one. After our first bites we lamented having them take the second one away bc these potatoes were PERFECTION. These were all heavy and deep flavors so we also had an amazing salmon crudo that just popped with freshness and brightness. Perfect counter to the other proteins we were having. Will absolutely return! Thank you Chef Gabbie and team. From maitre d to waitress to chefs you were all amazing.More infoGriffin'sPrice: Moderate• American• Brea / La Habra•4.7
