Best Date Night Restaurants in Goose Island

I was so happy we were able to get in last minute. We looked at reservations for tonight around 11 am, the only thing available was 9:15. Maybe 45 minutes later a 6:45 pops up and we were able to snag it. We had the short rib humus, whipped feta, hamachi, pork belly, steak & frites, fried halloumi and two kabobs. Perfect for all 4 of us hungry eaters. 100% will be back- if you can get in I highly recommend trying anything and everything on the menu. Service was impeccable. Food was courses perfectly and everything came out hot right out of the oven. If you have been to Bavel in LA you will love this “sister” in Chicago

The food and vibes were great! Our waitress, Casey, was amazing. Only thing that was really annoying was their obvious urge to turn tables over. In a matter of minutes, we had 4-5 separate people try to take our food that we were clearly still eating (literally said “no thank you, we’re still working on that” while we were mid-chew). The same thing happened with our drinks. We had a bottle of champagne in an ice bag that we repeatedly had people take out of the bag to check how much was remaining. Other than feeling rushed, this place was awesome.

Our server, Sergio, was excellent, in addition to everyone else who assisted at our table. The food was great. It is one of our favorite experiences in downtown Chicago.

I dropped by this restaurant for a late snack after a day of festivities, and I was blown away by how delicious the food was. The experience far exceeded my expectations. I am looking forward to coming back for dinner!

The atmosphere and vibe of Elina's was terrific. Sophisticated and felt like a New York neighborhood restaurant. The service was attentive and friendly. The food was fine but nothing very memorable. The fritto misto was way over-breaded (couldn't taste the seafood) and our pasta dish was average. Steak Limone was simple but good and flavorful.
