Best Date Night Restaurants in Kitsilano

First time coming here. Wonderful service. Ambience is perfect. My husband and I totally loved their brussel sprouts(the char is perfect and the sauce is sublime) and beef tartare (love the cracker underneath the tartare and the flavouring with the egg yolk is amazing). 10/10 King salmon for one of the entrees is also perfect. The fish texture is wonderful, just cooked right. The sauce is the showstopper basically elevating the dish. 10/10 Mushroom risotto- we loved the taste but the consistency is not what we expected from a risotto. Otherwise, flavour is on point. 8/10 Roasted pork belly- my husband rates it at 7/10. He loved the pork belly itself but didn’t feel the puree properly complemented the meat. I would also rate it at 7/10 but mostly because i thought it would be crispier or at least have crispy edges but i do love the puree and the chicharonnes with it. Lastly my husband and I got the salted caramel pot de creme. Loved it. 10/10. Not too sweet. Loved the texture with the vanilla breton on top. My husband also got the Americano to finish, wonderful and superb as he said it. 10/10. Definitely will come back here and try their other dishes. ❤️

The restaurant is small, which is good, and super cozy. Went for valentines dinner and had a 5 course meal. Originally I though it was a bit pricy but at the first bite I realized we were in for an amazing experience and the price would be worthy. I wasn't wrong. Every single dish of the 5 course meal was spectacular, with different flavour combinations in perfect harmony. Plenty of food too! We had the opportunity to personally thank the chef and I told him it was unforgettable. I'll certainly be coming back soon!

We’ve been here many times, I think Valentine’s Day made it not quite as smooth of an experience as usual. The cocktails were top notch, the sablefish risotto was fantastic, pizza amazing as always, the burger was good but not as good as previous ones. My only negative comment on this restaurant is the metal chair legs on the concrete floors are horrendously noisy and it takes away from the atmosphere. Still love this place and truly understand the Michelin Recommended!

Great food and atmosphere. The wine prices could use an adjustment, quite high prices by the glass.

We came out for dine out and were really impressed with the quality and presentation for casual Mexican familia dining. The room decor was really warm and well done (feeling more upscale) and loved the quirky cat theme accents everywhere (bring your cat lover friends here). The drinks are witty and strong and so many umami good food moments. The sable fish tacos (you get 4 tortillas and the portion is generous) was melt in your mouth. I look for read to coming back for me.
