Best Date Night Restaurants in Mt. Sinai

The restaurant is nice the food was amazing had a lot of appetizers and they were all great the Burrata was amazing with the balsamic glaze and the fried artichoke was delicious we a seafood salad forgot the name but it was also delicious and the bread was so fresh. Had the grilled chicken piccata that was a great sauce only the chicken was a little rubbery the Bronzino fish with lemon sauce amazing the chicken Parmesan was also amazing instead of pasta we got fingerling potatoes very tasty .dessert was good we had the flourless chocolate cake with pistachio gelato delicious and the basil gelato with strawberries with balsamic very good and last lol lemon sorbet tasty

Delicious food and ambiance…Rare 650 is perfect for a special night out! Managers are visible and make sure you are happy during your meal. Wait staff professionalism is inconsistent, it depends on who you get. Sometimes you have excellent service which makes those who aren’t trained seem subpar. Menus should be cleared off table along with chopstick wrappers and used bread dishes. Aside from those small glitches, Rare is great!

We have been regulars over the years as far back as Jewel. Since Bijou and now Halston, Paul remains the top maitre d and Alicia & Kat our best servers. Now we have gone through a variety of chefs but the current one is hitting home runs. The sushi is always the best and we have never come and not ordered a roll, but beyond this, my wife was raving about her Chilean Sea Bass special last night. This is indeed a rarity and was a pleasant surprise. She also ordered the fish tacos as an appetizer and was by far the best we tasted. We always share a quinoa salad which is enough for 4 people but the taste is too complex to pass up. Now I for my main course had the brisket again and the plate is just chock full of savory goodies but bring your appetite for this one. Now as if that was not enough, we still found room for their scrumptious hot apple crisp desert and their version of banana cream pie. My wife who is a very harsh food critic is still raving about last night's dining experience. Like a fine wine, they just keep getting better with time. "Salut"

Anthony was THEE absolute best waiter we ever had in our entire life. Not only is he such a great person but his attentive and accommodating nature was unbelievable! He made our dinner experience a 10 besides the food being amazing !!! I hope he makes partner !!! 😀

Matteo’s never disappoints… whether a casual dinner out or a special occasion like Christmas Eve tonight it excels. Our server Anthony was attentive, but gave us time to converse and enjoy our meal. Can’t wait to go back. Merry Christmas!!
