Best Date Night Restaurants in Upper Greenville

I recently dined at JOEY Dallas, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! The ambiance is chic and inviting, making it perfect for a casual lunch or a special night out. The chicken lettuce wraps were a standout starter—light, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. They set the tone for the rest of the meal beautifully. The Wagyu beef carpaccio was simply divine, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture and rich, savory flavor that left us craving more. For my main dish, I tried the Mahi Thai, and it was incredible. The mahi was cooked to perfection, with a harmonious blend of Thai-inspired spices that created a delightful explosion of flavors. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and every dish arrived at just the right time. I highly recommend JOEY Dallas to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. I can’t wait to go back and explore more of their menu!

Our brunch on 12/29/24 at the Mansion was absolutely wonderful. Everything was perfect. Jimmy, our primary server, took great care of us and was charming and kind as well. Without being asked, he told our 1 vegetarian about a biscuit with bacon in it that was brought to the table for everybody. Sang served us also and was just great. You won’t get service like this at too many places in Dallas! All 6 of us LOVED what we ordered. I had the salmon tart & Eggs Benedict, both excellent. Other standouts were the crabcake, the mushroom soup, the chicken schnitzel and a perfect omelette. But we loved everything that came to the table; lots of different things! We sat on the veranda, which is one of the prettiest dining rooms in town. From start to finish, this was a great experience.

Always a great experience!!! Love the atmosphere, quality of food and the classy attire of the staff. Miller served us tonight, and my girlfriend loved the experience!

Overall super solid and will return. Ken was our waiter, and he (and the rest of the staff) were really great. Thoughts on what we had: ▪️MANGO MEZCALRITA: expensive smoky orange juice ▪️ LUCA PARETTI PROSECCO: really good ▪️ PRETZEL BREAD: super cute and yummy ▪️ TUNA TARTARE: solid and would order again ▪️ CATCH ROLL: loved ▪️ FILET SKEWER: lots of good flavor, might get again ▪️ MEDITERRANEAN BRANZINO: didn’t finish and wouldn’t order again but probably personal taste here. The lemon was strong in the rice and the butter was def present with the fish ▪️ TRUFFLE MUSHROOM SPAGHETTI: super yummy, friend said shrimp didn’t add to the dish

While the food is always great, we opted to try sitting at the sushi bar as we always have gotten a table. Poor decision! Service was not good. The bar tender was our server whom largely neglected us. Took 40 minutes for her to come back from drink order to meal order. Don’t sit at the sushi bar unless you’re not hungry!
