Very nice atmosphere 👌🏾 I celebrated my 50th Birthday there and I loved the fact that there was a photographer 📸 ready to help capture great memories.More infoKitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley - CharlottePrice: Expensive• Regional American (Southern)• Uptown•4.1
- BBrookeCharlotte •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoOur food was absolutely incredible. For the first course we had the shrimp, mussels, and meatballs. All were cooked and seasoned to perfection. For my entree I got the beef short ribs and my friends both got the ravioli. The short ribs were so tender and paired perfectly with the mashed potatoes and miso sauce. Both of my friends finished their ravioli and had rave reviews. We finished off with the Sweet Home Carolina dessert, which was very rich and tasted a lot like a snickers bar. Our server, Basil, was very attentive and knowledgeable. We will definitely be coming back!More infoChurch and Union - CharlottePrice: Expensive• American• Uptown•4.6
- CCaitlinVIPCharlotte •9 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoHad a wonderful dinner at Sea Grill Restaurant to celebrate my dad’s birthday! The ambiance was beautiful - very classy and elegant! They really amped up the “ocean” vibes throughout the restaurant. They have an upstairs and a downstairs. We were seated downstairs near the bar, but the noise level was perfect for our party of 6. Upstairs it was much more lively, but still very nice. The service was top notch. They knew we were celebrating a birthday, and our initial interaction with our waitress was when she brought complimentary champagne to the table and a birthday card (so nice!). Cassandra was very attentive throughout the meal and made the experience even more pleasant. Overall, the food was very good! Of the appetizers we ordered, our favorites were the crab croquettes and grilled octopus. The baked oysters were take it or leave it for us - the oysters were almost nonexistent. For the main courses, we did the beef Wellington (great!), salt-baked branzino for two (so good!), and the lamb chops (stellar!), along with asparagus, seasonal vegetables, and parsley risotto. My dad received a complimentary tiramisu for his dessert (not a fan). We also ordered the crème brûlée (pretty good), pear carpaccio (not bad), and the velvet passion (our favorite!). The center has valet parking or you can self-park. Also, special shoutout to Raven - she also was a memorable part of our experience! We had a great experience and we look forward to returning!More infoSea Grill Restaurant and BarPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Charlotte•4.7
- CChristineChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoFantastic meal! Great ambience and service! We started with the Ground Duck Flatbread and both of us agreed that we should cancel the rest of our order and just get two of those. Amazing combination of flavors. Our entrees did not disappoint. I had Grouper and my partner had steak. Both were cooked perfectly. Our waitress was wonderful and suggested drinks for us as well as kept our water glasses full. She was attentive without being in our face. We will definitely go again! They don’t have parking but there is a large parking garage at the same corner.More infoThe Cellar at Duckworth'sPrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Uptown•4.8
- LLindaMemphis •4 reviews5.0Dined on 1 Dec 2024The sports tv sets DEFINITELY lower the experience in Sophia’s l. Highly recommend the tvs be put into a smaller, less conspicuous area for those who, heaven forbid, absolutely cannot enjoy an evening without staring at a tv screen. Sophia’s can elevate itself away from the lowered quality of Sports Bar by putting the tv reception in a small discrete area.More infoSophia's Lounge at The Ivey's HotelPrice: Expensive• Lounge• Uptown•4.6
