Park Tavern Neighborhood Bar & Brewery is located in the heart of midtown on the corner of 10th St. & Monroe overlooking Piedmont Park and the midtown skyline. Park Tavern rejuvenated its restaurant and menu for the 2019 summer season. Our building was originally built in 1905 as horse stables for local racing enthusiasts and then transformed into a golf clubhouse in 1928. Although expanded and renovated over the years, the building still features some of the original woodwork and stone from the historic clubhouse.     This was one of the most amazing places I have ever eaten. The food tasted so good, and homemade—it felt like I was over someone’s house getting some comfort food. True, authentic, southern cooking. The service was amazing. Everyone was very welcoming and hospitable.

    We went for New Year’s Day brunch. We were greeted pleasantly. Our server was attentive and made good suggestions. The menu had many interesting options. We started with the tuna tacos. My wife had the Avocado toast. I had the Chicken Eggs Benedict. The food was all excellent.

    Absolutely delicious! A packed house for Christmas Eve, and yet everything was delicious and the service and atmosphere were as warm, welcoming, and congenial as ever. I introduced my parents to this wonderful place tonight and they loved it as much as I always do. Perfect!
