- PPamLancashire •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoAll the food was fab. Cumberland sausage, Brisket with pearl onion and red wine stew, steak burger, chicken burger were all great as were the sides - all spot on with clean plates. The staff were very welcoming, our 1 and 2 year old loved their pizza and chips and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Thank you for a lovely afternoon ! Plus the cost for the meals including drinks was very reasonable 😊More infoThe RoyalPrice: Moderate• Pub• Bolton-le-Sands•4.6
- AACumbria •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoAfter the soup, I chose the beef roast. A good choice as the food was fantastic. The portions were very generous - so much so, I failed to eat it all! ( I should have gone for the small roast beef and left some room for dessert) A varied menu with the expected options, plus some more unusual dishes available. The service was efficient without being intrusive or hurried. All in all, a most enjoyable evening in a cosy setting. Thanks to the friendly staff and, although I am not local, I'm sure it won't be long before I'm back.More infoCrooklands Hotel - the restaurantPrice: Moderate• British• Kendal•4.7

- JJillYorkshire •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThe food is lovely but the price can be a little on the high side - £14 or so for three crispy mussels and a bit of stonebass seemed a bit over the top for a starter but it was very, very good and we were looking for something a bit special. On the whole, it was a very, very positive experience. It was a return visit, and we will go back.More infoShibden Mill InnPrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Halifax•4.7
