- LLindsaySouth Wales •2 reviews5.0Dined todayWe ordered the pumpkin fritte and rocket salad for appetisers, the spaghetti with parsley, chilli and breadcrumbs, fettuccine with Cornish crab and the tomato and mozzarella pizzetta. We had heard good things and had obviously seen the Instagram hype but even still it exceeded expectations. Everything was 10/10. Best tiramisu I’ve ever had! We will be back.More infoOnda Pasta BarPrice: Moderate• Italian• Manchester•4.7
- MMatthewDerbyshire •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoFirst visit & won’t be my last. First time my son has come with us to a decent restaurant, 11 years old he had mussels, sirloin and a chocolate fondant. Loved everything he ate. Comte gougere- phenomenal!! Snacks through to dessert all cooked & presented well, can tell they use quality ingredients and have a kitchen team that can cook. Servers all polite and friendly. As a chef it’s hard to go out to eat and enjoy it however the Duncombe arms delivered great food, friendly unintrusive service at good value (£75 each snacks, 3 courses with service charge and tip too)More infoThe Duncombe ArmsPrice: Expensive• British• Ashbourne•4.6
- HHayleyManchester/Greater Manchester •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoWe are a family of four, including two boisterous children. The gentleman who served us absolutely “got the memo” that I needed to discreetly pick the most suitable table to ensure we didn’t disrupt other diners. He was excellent and understanding the boys’ need to be away from other customers and brought us kids menus. The menus seem “slim pickings” but we felt like we had a good selection for our picky kids and us being pescatarian. The cocktail menu was great and we enjoy a few of those. The kids had good sized portions or burger and chicken “nugget” and thick cut chips. We had a selection of veggie sharing plates. All of the food was so incredibly tasty and we felt really full despite the portion sizes looking quite small on arrival. We’d definitely like to return to have more of the menu. We’d just have appreciated a faster service because the kids were getting restless waiting for their puddings. Other than that, this is a very easy place to recommend to others!More infoThe Restaurant at The RefugePrice: Moderate• Global, International• Manchester•4.3

- GGregLondon •4 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoFantastic. Took a seat at the bar for a solo night meal as was in town for work. The Christmas burger was sublime and wine, beer and dessert wine! Service was excellent - friendly and chatty when I wanted and when I was cradling my beer and reading my book, they left me alone. Chips were amazing.More infoBlacklock ManchesterPrice: Expensive• Steak• Manchester•4.8
