- JJohnNottingham/Nottinghamshire •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe ate at Al Molo on Saturday night, having been highly impressed with the food and service when in Weymouth. My wife started with the ham, mozzarella and tomatoes and I had the scallops, both were fantastic. We then went on to have monkfish wrapped in Parma ham and lobster and prawns. They were wonderful, fabulous tasting and very well presented. The staff were excellent as expected. Overall a brilliant night enjoyed. We will definitely be back.More infoAl Molo DorchesterPrice: Expensive• Contemporary Italian• Dorchester•4.7

- CClaireDorset •1 review5.0Dined on 9 Dec 2024Firstly, The Anchor Inn is one of my favourite places in the world. I've been returning here for the passed 30 years! This review may sound a little picky that's because it is. These are the only things I can think of that are hopefully constructive. Everything else was super. Just two things that I would like to mention. The music, whilst generally good, it was very repetitive. Same genre and I think the same playlist over the 4 days we visited and perhaps a little too loud. (God, I sound old). I love music and it's great for ambience as background music, but I wasn't there to listen to it, I was there to spend time catching up with friends. Also, the veggie options. The aubergine and hummus baguette. In my opinion, was very bland. It sounded delicious but I was very disappointed. The baguette could've been cooked a little more (very cold and doughy) and perhaps a bit of spice and texture added to the filling. The rest of the food we had over the 4 days was fantastic!More infoThe Anchor InnPrice: Moderate• British• Bridport•4.7
