The Crown is an independently run award-winning freehouse in the heart of Hastings Old Town, open at 11am every day. Our kitchen is open 12-4, 5 till 9. We serve modern British food in a friendly informal environment using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. The First In Last Out (FILO), is a family run free-house in the Old Town of Hastings. Alongside our award winning beer, we serve quality food prepared from scratch. 2nd visit with friends for lunch and another very good experience served by lovely staff. a good selection of specials and basket meals along with a good main menu. good overall. fine selection of beers to complement the meals. !!down side is no self closure on the toilet door and had i realised when were seated i’d haved moved !.. come on it’s £10 to solve it !!

Really great food, always lots to choose from and everything we picked was very good. Very relaxed feeling, sat at a high table near the bar which we love but tables outside are super nice too. Just a great place and really good value for money, especially considering the quality of the food. Just a great pub.
