The Crown is an independently run award-winning freehouse in the heart of Hastings Old Town, open at 11am every day. Our kitchen is open 12-4, 5 till 9. We serve modern British food in a friendly informal environment using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. The Two Sawyers is a 16th Century Inn recently refurbished and under family ownership. We pride ourselves on serving excellent beer and food. We have a large beer garden to the rear of the pub with over 30 tables for our guests to use for both drinking and dining. A character bar with log fires serving guest ales, beers, and wines. Fantastic customer service. Food was beautiful all freshly prepared and served hot. Visited for my child birthday meal. We was made feel very welcome through the meal. Definitely will visit again.

This is a lovely pub with a separate dining room if you don’t want to eat in the bar. Food is great and Kiran, our waitress was amazing! We always make a point of eating here when we are in Hastings and are never disappointed.

My friend and I had the pie for two and it was excellent, a great use of chestnuts on the filling. The service was relaxed but efficient and, once again, the whole experience was wonderful. The prix fixe dinners are incredibly good value.

Food exceptionally good and service was great. Vegetarian food is given just as much care and attention as meat and fish dishes. Only downside is that the restaurant was cold. I’ll make sure I bring a jumper next time!
