The Hengist offers a range of dining options including a casual dining option on the ground floor and two more formal dining rooms upstairs along with outside terrace dining in our gardens. The King and Queen is a beautiful quintessentially, English country Inn, located in the small village of East Malling, Kent. Open Tuesday to Sunday with food served all day from noon.We now have 3 Giant heated Tipis, they provide lots of fresh air and a lovely open environment, they are also heated.Formerly an 18th Century farmhouse boasting exposed beams, oak floors, exposed brickwork and oak tables. This leads to a very relaxed and cosy atmosphere with candle lit tables and real flame stoves.The cuisine is typically modern European, classically cooked using cornerstones such as stock pots to create their sauces with a brigade that has a passion for what they do. All the dishes were delicious and stylish, and I really enjoyed myself. The staff were very attentive, making the experience pleasant and comfortable. This is a restaurant I would definitely like to visit again. The breakfast was also incredibly tasty.
