Phenomenal dining experience off the strip! The steak, salmon and short ribs were flawless. We were celebrating a birthday and the sparkler in the four mini molten lava cakes was a fantastic treat! I was looking for a place for both adults and young kids. My husband and I enjoy this place on our own and had never taken kids before. This was a great experience for everyone. The kids loved the entertaining multi page kids menu as well as the temporary tattoos they got. At one point one kid was on the brink of tears because of, well, random kid stuff. He wasn’t eating his mac and was upset. A manager happened to be walking around and diffused the situation gracefully. She chatted with the kid and asked if he liked his mac (he replied with an emphatic “NO!”). She prevented a meltdown within seconds, offered to his parent that she could get him something else if needed. — Guess what? The kid ate the mac and cheese happily afterwards. I was impressed by how calm and empathetic this manager was and how she helped out the parents by diffusing a meltdown in seconds.

I made a reservation on Friday night, and showed up on time. Just a small wait as the resturant was very busy. Wait staff is excellent and knowledgeable about the wine and food and provided great recommendations for both. We ordered a bottle of Orin Swift 8 years Zinfandel. It was recommended by the waiter, and was quite good. Calamari for a starter, and that was excellent. Lightly breaded with a good sugo and aioli. Spicy rigatoni for a main. This was also delicious, but the pasta was a bit undercooked for my liking. A great atmosphere, and experience. We will definitely return

Got possessed by a craving for the octopus dish I had seen another order on my last visit, so booked dinner. Sat at the bar per usual and tried all new menu items to me. Drink- •How 'bout Them Apples ($17): Fresh-from-the tree sour apple, sharp and earthy. Wonderfully evocative creation from Guillermo (Tito). •Kaiju Amiga ($15): Very balanced between nutty sweetness and tang. •Clearly ($16): Like being on a breezy Caribbean beach, sunny, salty, citrusy. •Desparada "Saturn Return" 2022 Red Blend ($20): Very good pour. Food- Foie Gras ($25): Several-forkfuls portion of the rich fatty organ, accompanied by a thin eggroll spear. Very nutty, sweet, and crisp. Spanish Octopus ($24): About 10 octopus chunks, nicely charred outside the tender meat. Plentiful firm risotto grains, al dente and mildly salty (squid ink). Listed with a fire symbol on the menu; accurate. Chili quite prominent, asked for some bread ($2) to absorb and deaden some of the heat. Spiced and spicy. Value: Most excellent for the alcohol. Undecided about the food; liked what I had, still feeling the heat. Atmosphere: Surprisingly quiet at first, but noise level rose to its usual loud magnitude as the customers poured in. Service: Exceptional and attentive!

My wife and I had a wonderful night at Grape Vine. 10/10 will return. The prices were very reasonable and they had a huge selection. The food was fantastic although we had a difficult time choosing between many items on the menu, all which sounded excellent. We will definitely be back again soon!
