It’s stylish without being pretentious, lively, and most importantly, delicious. We had the beet salad, the Dungeness crab tart, branzino, and black cod. All were excellent. The cod was melt in your mouth tender, and simply prepared, so the freshness could shine through. The warm brown butter chocolate chip cookie to finish was just right.More infoWaterbarPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Financial District / Embarcadero•4.6

We were there on one of the coldest nights of the year and everyone was cosy. I continue to appreciate Firefly's dedication to accessibility in its approach to food and service. Everything was delicious and my guests had a lovely experience.More infoFirefly RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Noe Valley•4.9

- FFrancescoVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •23 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoFable is one of my favorite neighborhood restaurants in the Castro, my go-to. I love their patio dining, and the food is consistently good. This visit did not disappoint. The service and our server were fabulous. Our group ordered the pork chop, which was the hit of the evening. It was juicy, full of flavor, and served with roasted Brussels sprouts and sweet potato mash—a great combination. Someone ordered the cheeseburger, and it was good, consistent with prior visits. The only item we wouldn't order again was the cioppino. The person who ordered it said the soup lacked depth and complexity, and there was no crab in the dish. Overall, it was bland, even after they added the house-made habanero sauce.More infoFable - SFPrice: Moderate• Californian• Castro•4.7

The avgolomeno soup & dolmas were some of the best ever. But the dessert -Galaktoboureko- was fantastic! Nice ambience, great service. We will be going again soon!More infoNOVYPrice: Moderate• Greek• Noe Valley•4.7
