Our “finest hour” was most definitely during the Battle of Britain in World War II, when we were commandeered by the RAF to serve as an auxiliary mess for Fighter Command at RAF Kenley. The Harwood Arms is truly a hidden gem, on a beautiful quiet Victorian street. The decor, the service and ambiance is outstanding. This is our 2nd visit, and again we enjoyed our dining experience. The menu is seasonal, with a great selection for both veg and meat eaters. This place is definitely worth a detour 🙏🏽

A friendly, efficient and well organised pub. The food is top notch and beautifully presented. We went for an early Christmas meal and there was a small live band to entertain us. It was an excellent evening, and even the chef came out to see if we'd enjoyed the meal. Will be returning again next month. Highly recommended.
