Best Family Style Restaurants in Allen

It was good to see our server, Jay, again. It’s like dining with and old friend who always makes you feel welcome and comfortable. I like a filet or a NY strip but tonight Jay recommended the Wagyu Bone In Kansas City Strip and I’m glad he did. It was the best tasting steak that I’ve had in a long time. It was cooked (MR) and seasoned perfectly. It truly melted in your mouth. I had to forgo most of my potato so that I could finish that 18oz beast. It has now set the standard. My wife had a salad and a filet both of which were prepared perfectly. The highlights of the evening were Jay and that Wagyu. WOW!!

Among the many steakhouses we’ve dined at around DFW, this is by far the best in both quality and quantity. We expected a great steak based prior reviews, but were floored by how reasonable the prices were for the portion size. Will return regularly.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at BAR -Ranch and we are so glad that we did! Lane was a gracious host and the intimate size of the steakhouse was perfect for the occasion. The food was amazing down to the last bite. I would highly recommend the wagyu steak as they were among the best I’ve ever tasted. The salads, compliments and bread pudding were all absolutely delicious. Do yourselves a favor and reserve a table. You won’t regret it.
