Best Family Style Restaurants in Carlsbad

Beautiful restaurant inside. I rated three stars for food only because there were scant few vegetarian and vegan items. Those were basically side orders. There is not one salad available as an option. The other four people in our party that ordered meat meals really enjoyed their food. I also ranked 4 for noise because the only table available was outside, which is next to another restaurant that had their own music playing. I think if you requested a table inside, it would be perfect. I ordered a martini and it was average And very small. We ordered the s’mores for dessert (And there is actually a vegan option with a vegan marshmallow) But they didn’t really Taste like s’mores. The presentation was lovely though, although not real effective grilling your own marshmallow over tiny coals. I would definitely go back if the Restaurant would provide some actual vegan meals.

We celebrated a 90th birthday at P.F. Chang’s this week. The food was delicious accompanied by great cocktails. Our server, Chelsea was so sweet and Mike, the manager was very accommodating as well. We look forward to our next visit! 

We absolutely love dining here , we feel like home, EVERYONE is so welcoming and friendly, the management team are doing an excellent job. Employees are happy and they pass it on to the customers , we dine here once a month and always look forward to it, this time I tried the Spanish paella 🥘, I wish I took a photo, it was delicious 😋 my husband had the New York steak 🥩 it was done with perfection, we always share the wedge yummm 😋, for dessert 🍮 we tried the crème brûlée 🍮 it was ok , we’ve had better one, we don’t think it was from scratch. But overall outstanding menu, place, people.We adore one of the friendliest female manager ( I forgot her name sorry) she visits each table and sparks up a conversation, many restaurants don’t do that, despite how busy they are, they will acknowledge the customer all the time.

Our first visit here. The restaurant was almost empty. There was only one other table filled. The food and service from Drew were wonderful though. We will be back.

Nice place for family birthday dinner. Kids and adults both enjoyed, food was good, service was excellent
