We loved how cozy the restaurant was, and felt very well taken care of by the personnel. We were celebrating a special occasion with a large family group, and everyone was super accommodating to our (many) requests and wishes. Next time we’re in Atlanta, I’d love to return to The Optimist.

I thought this was a hooka bar but I came for dinner with family and it was lovely! The food was brilliant and there was no sign of it being a smoking lounge where we were eating. Loved it!

Brought a 9 person group in for a business dinner. We were there from 7pm to 10:30pm. Everyone but me was on their first visit. Everyone had a wonderful time and loved the food and decor. We ordered several appetizers for the table: ribs, ceviche, dumplings and vegetable rolls. For dinner we ordered: Pho soups, duck, lamb chops, chicken stir fry, tuna, salmon and plenty of sides. Food was fresh, tasty and creative. Wine recommendations were on point and service was very attentive. Can't recommend enough!

I had a really pleasant experience. I went in to eat for one even though I put one person on the OpenTable reservation. It showed two on their computer so they were unsure. But overall, it looks really great. There was one guy that wasn’t a server but was making sure my drinks were filled, and I had what I needed, which was really great to see the partnership between him and the waiters
