- LLizvipDenver / Colorado •464 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe enjoyed another lovely dinner at Venice. The service, food & wine are all outstanding. The gracious, welcoming manner of Aldo, the manager, just makes the evening special! We love sharing the beef carpaccio appetizer, which is just the right size for the 2 of us. For entrees we had the lasagna and sausage ravioli. Our favorite server moved on as manager of Alessandro's other restaurant in DTC, Chianti, but we very much liked the server we had this night. Giancarlo's wine pairing with our dinner was excellent, as always.More infoVenice RistorantePrice: Moderate• Italian• Tech Center / Greenwood Village•4.8

The service was impeccable (especially our waiter Glen), the food expertly prepared and the ambiance was relaxing. We started with the steamed mussels, which was a very generous portion in a garlic butter bath. Next, we had the wedge salad and the tomato onion salad which were both delicious. Our main courses included the prime rib and the petite filet. Again, both prepared to perfection. Sides included the asparagus and Maytag potatoes, which were sharables. Finally, we had the souffle for dessert. It was light, but flavorful. We will visit again for a special occasion. The prices are high - the meal described along with a couple of cocktails ran nearly $400. I recommend taking a look at the menu before you go so you won't be surprised. Definitely worth it for an anniversary or birthday. Beware some people bring their small children. You may get seated next to a family. Otherwise, worth a try!More info801 Chophouse - DenverPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown / LoDo•4.9
- DDavevipDenver / Colorado •8 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe love going to Shanahan’s Steak House. Yes, it’s expensive and Yes, it’s absolutely worth it. Everything is first-class from the moment the valet greets you. The staff is very friendly and VERY customer focused. The quality and presentation of the food is unmatched by any steak house I have ever dined at - especially the quality of the meat! Outstanding. The steaks and chops are incredible and consistently prepared to my liking, as are the seafood items. The apps and sides are likewise terrific (the lobster Mac and Cheese is one of my favorites). The wine selection is extensive.More infoShanahan's SteakhousePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Tech Center / Greenwood Village•4.9
