Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Vail

Great meal and service as always and new dishes to try every time. Johnny was the best waiter and the chef himself came over to the table several times to chat about the food. We’re going to continue to be there every trip to Beaver Creek!

The Left Bank opened in Vail in 1970 and I first dined there with my wife in 1971. There are so many excellent dining establishments in the Vail Valley but The Left Bank has remained at the head of the class ever since it opened. There has been one change in ownership but no change in excellence. I never miss a chance to dine at The Left Bank each year I come to Vail, which has now been over 55 years. Many special dishes have remained as features on the menu such as the salmon and caviar blinis , the classic onion soup which is as good as any you will find in Paris, the endive and pommes salad, the seafood vol au vents, the Dover Sole, the chocolate and the lemon soufflés to name just some of my favorites. There are typically quite a few special menu items offered each evening. This is world class level dining. Service is impeccable and the ambience is excellent. If you can only get seating in the bar lounge, go ahead and take it. Same menu, same attentive service, cozy setting. Best of the best!

I like to have conversation over dinner and don't appreciate louder music forcing me to speak up. I'm not at a club. The tables are already close enough together to create enough noise. Kill and lower the electronic music.

The food was great but the service was even better. Added bonus, they have great cocktails.

Celebrated my son’s 21st birthday and it was outstanding. So appreciative that servers, waiter and manager all wished him happy birthday. Our waiter Dimitri was attentive and professional and provided great recommendations on food and wine and was mindful of my son’s allergy. We had lamb chops, lobster special, Hawaiian Kampachi, chicory salad and the most heavenly soufflés. The lemon soufflé may have been the best I’ve ever had.
