This journey began in defense of the maker, those that bring to light from darkness, an idea. Our inspiration comes from memory, of travels we’ve taken - it is the thread that helps us bind our creation. Wolf’s is the laboratory where inspiration turns to creation, creation is stitched into a form that when examined takes guests on the creators' journey of exploration. But the quest to create comes not for the supplication of an audience, but for the continual introspective pursuit of pushing the boundaries of what we know as possible.

I live in Denver and brought a visiting friend to tea. It was a lovely experience - not inexpensive, but since it's not an everyday outing, that was fine. The room was beautiful, the food was very good, the tea selection was excellent and the service was outstanding. However, it IS Denver and it DOES get cold here in the winter; it was uncomfortable in the atrium and most people kept their coats and scarves on. It's too bad the Brown Palace Hotel hasn't figured out a way to combat the frigid outdoor temperatures better. Since we 'dressed up' for the occasion, it was a shame to have to keep our outerwear on the whole time. Overall, a fun experience.

A Perfect Evening at Hideaway Steakhouse Hidden in the peaceful tree groves of north Denver, Hideaway Steakhouse offers an unforgettable dining experience. From the moment we arrived, the welcoming staff and warm, refined atmosphere made us feel instantly relaxed and ready to enjoy the evening. We started our meal with the pan-seared crab cakes, a standout dish with a beautifully crisp exterior and tender, flavorful filling. The accompanying remoulade sauce provided a tangy complement that tied everything together. Next came the iceberg wedge salad—a timeless classic. The crisp lettuce, smoky bacon, juicy tomatoes, and rich blue cheese dressing combined for a perfectly balanced and refreshing starter. For the main course, we selected the Niman Ranch Chateau. Cooked to perfection, this tender cut of beef was served alongside creamy garlic mashed potatoes and lobster mac-n-cheese. Every bite was rich, satisfying, and expertly prepared. Throughout the evening, the service was flawless. The staff offered thoughtful wine pairings, ensuring every dish was perfectly complemented. Their attention to detail made the experience even more enjoyable. Hideaway Steakhouse delivers more than just a meal—it’s a serene escape where every element is carefully crafted to delight the senses. We left feeling thoroughly satisfied and eager to return for another visit.

Our most recent return to The Wolf's Tailor is the first time I've been since they have done away with the a la carte menu. (I still miss that and would love to sit at the bar once again with a pasta and cocktail.) But, the tasting experience today is outstanding. All killer no filler when it comes to the courses, with many highlights (Dungeness, pasta, both bison dishes, sorbet course and squab). Service was warm and provided an appropriate amount of explanation. Will definitely be returning.
