Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Braintree

We had a wonderful dinner date there tonight. Everything we got was incredibly fantastic! Fresh, tasty, unique and beautifully presented. We were both really impressed with it all. Truly top notch! Our server Perry was phenomenal! Pleasant, nice, friendly, helpful with our questions, on point with everything. The young lady he was training that followed him around was also very nice. Everyone else was pleasant as well, from the hostesses to the restaurant co-owner that came to greet us at out table, to the Valet young man. Excellent service all around at this place. we will definitely go back and try other dishes. Thank you for making our night pleasant and memorable!

Food was excellent as always. Unfortunately, the service was spotty. The server misheard our order for two entrees and brought just one. Once alerted to the error, she quickly brought the second entree as well. The gratuities on top of the bill, starting at 25%, are a bit too high.

Lovely chill vibe, helpful staff and delicious food!

We went for the 1st time Sat 1/4 at 6:30pm. It was our anniversary and we’re excited to have a nice, romantic dinner. Ambiance was nice, hostess had a special table picked out and sprinkled rose petals on the table ( very nice touch). She was great! It was an extremely slow night. Service was prompt and server was very good. Personable and prompt. Bread was brought out to start and it was completely disappointing. 2 thin slices of cheap, store bought Italian bread, pre buttered with a chipotle mayo style sauce, in a fake wooden bowl lined with waxed paper. Hate to be so harsh, but it gave a terrible 1st impression. We had an appetizer. calamari (excellent). We had entrees, Filet w/ delicious Demi glaz and a ravioli dish, both excellent. Had one glass of wine, one cocktail, one dessert, $237 w/ tip was not a great value. They need to do something about the bread ASAP. It was embarrassing and easily upgraded.

The food was divine and the service was impeccable. If you’re looking for an upscale restaurant without the hassle of traveling into the city, look no further. This is a gem of a restaurant that I hope more people on the South Shore discover so that it will remain a staple in our community for decades to come. The drink menu was impressive, the short rib gnocchi appetizer was delicious, and the espresso crème brûlée was the best I’ve ever tasted. Lucca is not to be missed!
