- KKerriOrlando / Central Florida East •1 review5.0Dined 1 day ago"I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The escargot and duck confit were amazing. The table was split on the steak tartare, but the pomme frites were on point 😋 Everyone loved the mash potatoes and duck fat potatoes. Highly recommend the crème brûlée. Service was well-timed and friendly, wine was delicious!More infoLa NouvellePrice: Moderate• French• St. Augustine•4.9
- MMelvinJacksonville / Northeast Florida •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoI recently celebrated my 70th birthday with my wife at the Old City House restaurant and we had an indubitably delicious dinner with our fantastic waitress serving us. She sat us at a lovely corner table for two next to a window. The ambience was cozy, warm, elegant, relaxing, romantic and simply superb! The service was absolutely fantastic and the food was amazing, delightful and scrumptious. We enjoyed a very nice bottle of Ken Wright Cellars Pinot Noir 2023 from Williamette Valley, Oregon before we ordered our dishes. According to my wife, her magnificent lamb dish was wonderful! I savored a lovely cup of she-crab bisque and the beef tenderloin, which was a very flavorful, juicy, moist, succulent and tender Filet Mignon served with Vegetables, Gratin Potatoes and Topped with Herb and Truffle Butter. Dessert was quite delectable! We had an amazing dining experience. I told our fantastic waitress," ¡No me gusta, me encanta!"More infoOld City HousePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• St. Augustine•4.7
- CCynthiaOrlando / Central Florida East •5 reviews5.0Dined on 26 Dec 2024Great restaurant in the middle of the historic district of St. Augustine. Loved the old house feel. Server was always available until the end of our meal when we needed to leave for an event. We had to bypass coffee as it was taking 30 minutes for dessert and coffee. The staff was exceptional. The meal cooked and served excellently. The ambiance might have been better with a different table. We were seated in a small room in back by the black curtain where staff continued to go back and forth. I would suggest when you make a reservation to see if you can get into the main dining area.More infoMichael's St. AugustinePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• St. Augustine•4.8
- SSanfordJacksonville / Northeast Florida •22 reviews5.0Dined on 24 Dec 2024We are regulars at Cordova and love it. Christmas Eve was extremely busy and we found it difficult to find a place to sit in the lounge while waiting for our dinner reservation at 6:30. The kitchen was slow and we didn't finish dinner until 9:30. We'll definitely go back but this experience was out of the ordinary. We have dined here on Christmas Eve for the last 6 years so it's become somewhat of a tradition for us. Never had this much of a delay in the past.More infoCordovaPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• St. Augustine•4.2
