- TTurnerNew Orleans / Louisiana •5 reviews5.0Dined todayThis is our third visit to August. It gets better every single time. This isn’t just food, it’s a meal that you won’t soon forget. Each dish brings you to a place beyond description, leaving you wondering and asking, how did they do that? By far the best restaurant in the city and dare I say in the country. It is not cheap but you you will leave satisfied beyond words!More infoRestaurant AugustPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French / American• Central Business District•4.9
- LLisaNew York City •27 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThis is the best food we’ve had in NOLA, in the warmest, most elegant and most welcoming setting! Janine, Davi and Justin were excellent guides to the historic traditional menu. The smoked pompano with capers, sliced so thinly and smoked in-house, was a beautiful starter. My husband had the quail and seafood boudin, crunchy outside and tender within; and I loved the speckled trout meunière with perfect haricots verts and. Crabmeat; and those soufflé potatoes—oh my! Also loved the Mille-feuille for dessert…light as a feather!More infoArnaud'sPrice: Very Expensive• Creole• French Quarter•4.7
- KkellySacramento / Sacramento Valley •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoTucked within the opulent confines of the Four Seasons Hotel in New Orleans, Chemin à la Mer offers a culinary experience that's nothing short of sublime. My meal began with a ribeye, cooked to absolute perfection—succulent, juicy, and bursting with flavor. Alongside, I enjoyed Pommes Purée, so creamy and smooth it could easily be mistaken for a work of art. To cap off the evening, I indulged in a sour cream cheesecake paired with a rich, aromatic coffee. The dessert was divine, a perfect balance of tangy and sweet. What truly elevated the experience was the exceptional service and the enchanting ambiance. Seated with a breathtaking view of the mighty Mississippi River, the atmosphere was both elegant and serene. It was a dining experience that not only satisfied my palate but also left a lasting impression on my heart. **Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)** If you're seeking an unforgettable meal in New Orleans, Chemin à la Mer is a destination that should not be missed. - JJulieNew Orleans / Louisiana •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoWe were driving in an Uber with the windows down to another restaurant, when we smelled this unbelievable scent in the air. We looked around and saw the name of this restaurant made a reservation immediately and told our Uber we’d be getting out. This was the best decision we’ve ever made !!! Service was fantastic, other restaurant goers were all on the same vibe, food was cooked to perfection, and not overly expensive for an upscale steakhouse.
