Best Fine Dining Restaurants in East Rockaway

Beautifully decorated for the holidays still. Felt very festive. Staff was wonderful. Owner came by a few times to interact and make us laugh. Food very good. We will be back

The food was very good and the venue was very cozy. The service was excellent with frequent visits to our table and “checking” to see if we needed anything. The portions were large and there were many leftover boxes taken home. Of note, the calamari as an appetizer were outstanding. They were small, tender, not gummy or chewy. A nice touch at the end of our meal was a cotton candy centerpiece, which we all picked at and enjoyed. A wonderful dining experience!

I always enjoy coming to Dunns River. The music is good, the food is amazing and it’s the only sit down Caribbean experience that is top tier compared to the normal hole in the wall establishments with the plex glass separating the customers. Home run for date night. My only wish is that the music isn’t so loud all the time. It’s so hard to have a conversation. I stayed away from Friday & Saturday and picked a weekday date night thinking it would be a quieter background noise kind of night. Nope. We were still shouting at each other. After our meal we ending up walking around in the rain so we could hear each other lol. Something to consider for management maybe.

The food and drinks were great! Very good music.

It was a great time! So cute and fun for Valentine’s Day!
