Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Choppington

Our first visit didn’t disappoint Prompt service, nice food, beautifully decorated. Would recommend a visit! Slightly cold, wish the radiators where working in the window Not keen on the classical music so would have preferred to sit away from the speaker Will be back :)

We received a voucher for Blackfriars for Christmas. Booking was easy online. We arrived slightly early but our table was ready. The restaurant was not busy when we arrived and enjoyed the background music. Service was very good and we asked if we could mix and match between the menu’s and they said it was fine to do that. We ordered the fish platter to share which was really nice. I ordered the fillet steak, it was perfectly cooked to the way I like it and the chips were amazing, I ordered the beef dripping jus which was delicious. My husband ordered the corn fed chicken, again this was delicious. We had no room for desert so can’t comment on that. My husband also had the larger brewed onsite which he said was very nice. Only fault I would say is they put a service charge of 10% on your bill but it is explained it is not mandatory. Definitely will be back.

Just absolutely love it at St Vincent’s… simple, rustic delicious food…incredible wine and cocktails… knowledgeable, edgy staff and a bougie… wonderful atmosphere! This restaurant has it all going on and is in my top 10 in the North East.

Our table had 3 courses, which was do-able because the portions size was ideal for us. Very pleasant. Presentation of the food, restaurant and staff were all excellent. Quiet and relaxed ambience - certainly an impressive experience Ignoring any offers and choosing whatever we wanted ended up being £191 between 4. This was the food, a mocktail, glass of rosé and bottle of (very agreeable) red. This wasn’t the cheapest meal ever, but worth the money. Recommended for an impressive place to enjoy good, well presented food.
