- JJanelleSan Diego •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoWe had a lovely and wonderful experience at Ruth’s Chris Steak House thanks to our amazing server Ronn! The food and dessert were all delicious from start to finish! The ambience was spectacular for San Diego. The meal even ended with a beautiful Red Rose provided by our server. What an awesome way to celebrate Valentine’s Day Weekend!!!More infoRuth's Chris Steak House - San DiegoPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown / Gaslamp•4.8
- VVanessaVIPLas Vegas •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThis dinner was spectacular! I have to tell you from the start we almost left. We reserved a table with a view and as everyone knows San Diego weather is unpredictable. The wind was rough and heaters were not cutting it. We had our drinks and we're ready to pay. At a steak house like this you already know dinner is super pricy. I'm not paying $300 to be shivering. Thank you so much to Frank who came by and suggested to our server Joshua's we might like the fire pit. It was amazing!! No more wind chill we even got a little warmer. This made our Valentines dinner. Joshua's went out of his way all night to make our experience amazing as well. Now the food ! I came here not expecting to be swept off my feet. Dinners lately have been kind of disappointing in SD. Tonight we were blown away by this rib eye in truffle butter. I asked for it to be a little charred and red on the inside. The meat was tender and juice spilled onto plate. The potatoes were one of the best things I've had in my mouth. I can not tell you how much I appreciate food seasoned to perfection. The bread was the opening act with how soft buttery, and fluffy it was. The calamari in sweet Chile sauce was different then any calamari we've ever had. Fried to perfection. My lemon drop martini was made by the GODS. I can not wait to come back here once we get our sunny San Diego vibe back. Love is definitely in the air tonight. - SStephanieChicago / Illinois •5 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoVisiting our daughter from Chicago for the week. Mister As did not disappoint. The ambiance, food and service was exceptional. Izzy was engaging and attentive to assure our dining experience was extraordinary. We were seated w a beautiful view of the ocean. Everything was brought out at a timely manner and we never felt rushed. Best Caesar salad w every leaf laced w dressing . The king salmon Wellington was unlike any salmon I’ve ever tried. The braised short rib was flavorful n simply superb (not fatty). The rack of lamb along w lamb stuffed cherry tomatoes was also delicious. There r so many fine restaurants in SD, but this by far one to revisit for us.More infoMister A'sPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French / American• Downtown / Gaslamp•4.9
- JJayVIPLos Angeles •10 reviews5.0Dined on 8 Feb 2025I love this hotel ! The decor is absolutely beautiful at the Fairmont Grande! The Amaya is in the hotel. We were there on a Friday night. I couldn't believe how uncrowded it was. If you like quiet, uncrowded elegance and delicious food this is a go-to. The Amaya is a beautiful restaurant. My only critique is that the lighting could have been just a little dimmer to enhance the romantic feel of the restaurant. Otherwise I love everything about this hotel. Even the decor in the restroom is a work of art.More infoAmaya at Fairmont Grand Del MarPrice: Very Expensive• French• Carmel Valley•4.1
