Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Silver Spring

This is the perfect spot for a date night. The food and old fashioned were delicious. The dining area is next to the kitchen, which is an experience I never had. We also got to see Chef Edward Kyun Lee! He created a wonderful menu that I was not expecting. Definitely would recommend this restaurant if you are able to snag a reservation!

There's a reason why this place has been open for so many years. It delivers great fresh sushi and an interesting assortment of appetizers.

First time dining at Matisse. We had a great time. The food was amazing, we really loved the grilled octopus appetizer and rockfish entree that our server recommended. The atmosphere was great for Saturday night dinner. We will definitely be coming back to try more!

We've been dining at this hidden gem regularly for 20+ years. It's our absolute go-to for multigenerational gatherings and special occasions. We do takeout on occasion. They also have a great early bird menu that is available until 6:30 on weekdays. Don't be fooled by the vintage decor and classic menu. The food is excellent every time, and the specials are always different and wonderful. My favorites are any of the fish dishes (menu or special), the caldeirada, and the chicken Marsala. The lamb dishes are always perfectly done as well. I've never had anything that didn't leave me wanting to lick the plate. For dessert the pasteis de Nata (Portuguese custard tart). And a carafe of Portuguese red wine tops it off great! The staff is gracious and friendly and flexible about substitutions. If you're looking for delicious and expertly executed classic cuisine, this is the place for you!

We go to Morton's as a special Christmas Eve dinner tradition. Our food and service did not disappoint!! Not only was the food delicious, we were treated do well. It is such a nice fine dining experience. What made the night complete, and the best, was our server. Our waiter, Severin, is AMAZING!!! We had him last year and requested to be sat at one of his tables this year, which the restaurant kindly honored our request! He is so personable and really gets to know his customers. He made several recommendations which were spot on. We cannot wait to go back!
