Silver Dove Afternoon Tea is a full service tearoom in Downtown Boston specializing in English style afternoon tea service. Excellent food and service, as usual. Terrific place. At the brunch hour may be good to cluster families with young kids. Not everyone loves a toddler for brunch. Short of that, amazing experience.

Excellent food and experience. Honestly, the fresh pasta and marinara was basically heaven all by itself. The only meh item was the fried cheese app, which came luke warmish, as though it had been sitting under a heat lamp. Would not order again. Would reorder everything else: house salad, chicken something or other with olives, anchovies, artichokes, asparagus, and sun dried tomatoes; came with a house salad. Nommy bread, good wine list, perfectly reasonable prices, esp considering portions.

It had been 9 years since our last experience at Toscano and last night did not disappoint. Katie was amazing, as was the food. Toscano is one of those places that (almost) makes me wish I lived on this side of the country. Don't hesitate, just go!
