Best Gluten Free Restaurants in Carmel

It is evident that the folks at Basil love cooking and excel at it. I've never had a less than amazing meal there.

Carmel Bistro Giovanni has been our go to place in Carmel. Preparation of food has always been consistent and recipes never change. Service is one of the best in town.

My wife and I noticed this restaurant on Friday night as we were strolling Carmel-by-the-Sea. We made reservations for Saturday. This was the perfect place for us that night. We wanted a relaxed environment with a fireplace. Village Corner delivered perfectly. We sat directly next to the fireplace. My Cioppino was fantastic and ton of food for my hearty appetite. The live music was nice and the musicians were fun and polite. Will definitely be back again.

The food was tasty and well prepared as always. The calamari steak abalone style was wonderful - the calamari tender and the saute sauce so good! The local rock cod sandwich, Cajun style, was tasty - I like the rolls here. We like to go for a late lunch if we can escape from work. The high top tables near the bar are great for a couple. However, what really made this a 5-star experience was Gabriel. He was funny, engaging, right there when we needed him, and made the experience wonderful. Thanks Gabriel!
